OS STRIVES TO KEEP COSTS AS LOW AS POSSIBLE FOR STUDENTS
Optical Summit is hard at work to enable Opticianry Program students the opportunity to feel like part of the optical community by joining us at Optical Summit.
Are you a student who is enrolled* in an Opticianry program in 2018? Enjoy a free ride, education, lunch, networking and fun, ON US!
*Students must be enrolled in an Opticianry training program at the time of Optical Summit (May 25 - 27), or were enrolled in Winter 2018 and will be resuming studies in Fall 2018.
FREE BUS TRANSPORTATION TO OPTICAL SUMMIT
The Opticians Association of Canada, in partnership with Essilor and The Optical Group are providing FREE bus transportation to Opticianry Program students who wish to attend Optical Summit in Laval, QC on May 25 - 27, 2018. Buses have a limited capacity and seats are reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.
Bus transportation is available from the following cities:
- Quebec City
- Moncton, New Brunswick

FREE ENTRY TO EDUCATIONAL SUMMIT & TRADE SUMMIT (WITH JOB FAIR)
Students are invited to attend Educational Summit and Trade Summit at no cost.
Educational Summit includes lectures and workshops geared towards the professional development of Opticians and other ECPs; perfect for students currently studying to become Licensed Opticians.
Trade Summit provides students the opportunity to learn more about, and experience first-hand, the products and services available within our industry. Students can network with suppliers, eyecare professionals, other students and support staff, as well as national and provincial association and board representatives.
A job fair will also take place providing students the opportunity to network and explore potential opportunities across the country.
FREE LUNCH
Students who are attending Optical Summit receive lunch, at no cost, on the days they are registered to attend.
